Sydney's best value Blue Mountain Day tour! - If you only have time to do one thing in Sydney this has to be it!
Join Combined Coaches 1 for a day trip you'll never forget. As we leave the city traveling West in our luxury air-conditioned coach for the amazing sights of the Blue Mountains, we drop in at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Park site and visit the main Stadium. Continuing along our journey towards Sydney’s West, you will enjoy a traditional Australian outback morning tea of damper and Billy Tea before we continue on to Featherdale Wildlife Park. There you can make friends with some cuddly koalas, hand feed kangaroos and see many unique Australian animals in their natural habitat.
Before we stop for lunch, we visit an exciting and authentic outback working station where we will be met on arrival by stockmen on horseback, fully equipped with stock whips and all! There we will watch working dogs muster sheep and maybe even learn to throw a boomerang and crack some whips! A gourmet lunch is included at a nearby traditional Aussie pub before we head back en route to visit the Blue Mountains area.
As we climb into this beautiful and peaceful area of Sydney’s West we stop in at the historic townships of Leura and Katoomba. Then we follow the scenic Cliff Drive where we take in some breathtaking views of the Jamison Valley (Australia’s Grand Canyon). We then continue on to Echo Point where we will be able to catch a great view of the famous Three Sisters rock formation, towering over Jamison Valley. At our next stop, the Skyway, we hope you have your cameras ready to capture the spectacular and unforgettable sights as you ride either the Scenic Railway or Skyway or the new Sceniscender down the mountain and into Jamison Valley (own expense).
Let’s hope you’re wearing your walking shoes because next up is a light bushwalk through dense, unspoiled rainforest filled with native birds. Thrill seekers will get a birds eye view of the Blue Mountains from the Skyway cable car (own expense) soaring 300m above Katoomba Falls. Others can enjoy a walk to Katoomba Falls or check out the historic coal mine. We will make a photo stop at Narrow Neck to capture Megalong Valley, before moving on to Wentworth Falls for a optional bushwalk. Along the way you will enjoy views of the King's Tablelands, Jamison Valley and the Spectacular waterfall. The return trip will see us stopping at Parramatta for an enjoyable river cruise back to Darling Harbour where your tour concludes.
